I was raised on a small vegetable farm which is now part of the suburbs of Louisville Kentucky. I attended University of Kentucky for a BS in Agriculture Economics and a Commissioned into the US Air Force via ROTC. I served actively for over 3 years until the end of the Vietnam War when I received a reduction in force discharge opportunity.
I pursued my agriculture background to sell feed and farm supplies for many years and used the GI Bill to return to University of Kentucky for a MS in Agriculture Economics. I returned to the Feed and Farm Supply sales after graduation along with a parttime career in real estate which piqued my interest in the mortgage side of the industry. It was years later that I met Brad Chambliss when refinancing my home that probably helped me change direction into the mortgage business as a Loan Officer Assistant and have been involved in mortgages since 2015.
